History of the ESC in PGCC
The Engineering Students Club of PGCC has always be exciting in the minds of Engineering, Technology, and Sciencs students in PGCC, also in that of the Mathematics & Engineering Staff at PGCC. Even due the idea was in the minds of many, the materialization was still far fatched till Febuaray 2001. A student majoring in Electrial Engineering and Computer Engineering Technology by the name of Godson O. Ogbuneke thought that the brith of this club has been long over due. Godson, founder of the Engineering Students Club, was warmly welcomed by all (the students and staff of Prince George's Community College) for taking the initative. The initative was encouraged, even boosted by Dr. J. Bailey, an outstanding staff of the Mathematics & Engineering Department, Coodinator of the Mathematics & Engineering in Prince George's Community College. Dr. Bailey has since then been the advisor of the ESC. His wise assistance, opinions, suggestions, and ideas has always been awsome.
The ECS hard its first offical meeting on March 8th, 2001 which was on a Thursday by 11:00 a.m. The meeting hard a good turn-out of students, and it was graced by the Dean of Food & Science with an astonishing message for all the ESC members (old/new/future).
